A sneak peek at something that inspired this tale...

Halloween.  I love this holiday.  As a child we dressed up, yelled trick or treat around the neighborhood and filled our pillow cases with sugar booty.  Later we visited the local haunted house [where I was always scared to a screaming pitch] and ended the night with a egg fight or toilet papering someone's house - or being the target.  It was a blast.  Unfortunately, this is one holiday that hasn't followed me through adulthood and was lost when I moved abroad, to a place where they didn't celebrate.  My fun with it now has been reduced to being someone who gives out candy - if we're there to hand it out at all.  

So, in retaliation, I wrote a character who dressed up in a wicked costume to seduce a man and ends up with two of them.  This was one of my Flaming Shorts and after a trip to Paris, it became so much more.  While I'd been to this wonderful city a few times before, this visit was different.  I was immediately inspired and started writing, well, in between my hunt for the Best Hot Chocolate, chocolate, sites I hadn't seen before and those I had.  

It was all research.
