A sneak peek at something that inspired this tale...

I confess, I used to live in England, up in beautiful and wild North Yorkshire.  Whenever we go back to jolly ol', I'm inspired to write a story that showcases this unique area, bring in some of my favorite things to do and see.  Then we go to London and there is so much there, that a quick visit couldn't accommodate it all and I think of writing something that takes place there.  Well, after a trip to both locations in one trip and a gift from my cutie [a necklace designed by my favorite jeweler],  I had in my head a story that suited both locations perfectly.  I took on the challenge before we came back home and managed to fit into the story some of my favorite must do's in both places.

Two things I do on every trip is visit Betty's Tea Shop for scones, covered in clotted cream and strawberry jam, and another one to Chinatown in London for crispy duck wrapped in pancakes with plum sauce and cucumber strips are two that come to mind.
