"If you think, you are dead." So, what does the world's greatest driver, Selkirk MacLellan do when love crashes into him? He thinks. During a fast and furious affair with Oralia Norman, the only artist to paint a Formula 1 Team portrait, Kirk gives new meaning to the words crash and burn, ending their relationship with a phone call.

Will she forgive him?  And, when he bares his dirty little secret, will she run or pour more octane on her high maintenance driver.

Reviews for Extreme Speed, Total Control

"[Extreme Speed, Total Control] is a terrific story that I am sure I will remember for some time to come. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance with blazing hot love scenes." - Susan White, Coffee Time Romance

About Tilly Greene

Born into the easy folds of a sleepy beach town Tilly Greene has ever since been trying to shake the sand out from between her toes. Thinking she had it all figured out she moved to colder, frigid if you ask her, climes and, although seeing seasons evolve is wonderful she has yet to recover her equilibrium. The thongs and shorts are still regularly worn, no matter what time of year, and her imagination runs to the wild side of scorching.

An Interview with Tilly Greene

By Holly Hewson, Marketing Director for The Romance Studio

HH: Tilly, welcome back to TRS BLUE.  Please tell us about your featured book, Extreme Speed, Total Control.

TG:  Thank you very much for having me back! Now, you ask about Extreme Speed, Total Control, well, it is a fast paced race around the world for these lovebirds. On their own, Selkirk MacLellan and Oralia Norman are both rather special people who are lucky enough find each other at the perfect time in their lives but by no means is it all smooth sailing to paradise. In fact there are a few twists and turns Kirk must navigate from outside his race car and it is a challenge, as is Lia who enjoys testing his much valued control.

HH: Your story involves the exciting world of racing. Where did you get the idea?

TG: I am a huge fan of Formula 1 racing: it is all so fast, very dangerous, requires great skill and concentration, and the drivers are from all over the world and absolutely gorgeous. In reality, they lead glamorous lives and I often wondered about the women who fall for them and how they all handle the danger and the fact that death is possibly around the corner. Admittedly I had one plan in mind but Selkirk, who always has to be in control, moved a few things around to better suit him and his purposes.

HH: What sort of research did you have to do to bring your story to life?

TG: First I drew on my own knowledge and filled in the holes with help from the cutie, after that I hit the internet and went way overboard so my very sweet editor helped me to tone down.

HH: Will there be sequels or similar stories to this one?

TG: I have a few ideas along this vein, including Boyd being given his own tale of finding love but it has not all jelled in my mind yet.

HH: What are you working on now?

TG: Lately I have been playing at the Other Booklovers Conference and preparing for my month long celebration of signing my first contract. But when I put my backside in the chair and work it has been to polish up Come to Me and The Leather Bride for submission and to make some headway on Lilian, my romantic suspense.

HH:  Why did you become a writer?

TG: Wow, the "why" sounds somewhat simple and obvious when I say it but in reality, none of it is. Basically I had to. When you have all these characters and their stories swirling around in your thoughts day after day they must come out or you go crazy.

HH:  What does your family and friends think of your writing?

TG: Absolutely thrilled to beans and very supportive. The cutie often asks for a list of the books I am working on and their basic plots so he can follow along. I was out visiting my family when I received the news that Come, Sweet Creature made it to #1 at both Whiskey Creek Press Torrid and Fictionwise and shared the news with everyone - Jean Paul croissants and chocolate milk for everyone! It was so exciting.

HH:  What do you do for fun?

TG: When I have a moment all to myself and I am at home...I play with my pop-up collection and try my hand at creating some for myself. If I am traveling, then I hit the local bookshop and see what authors are local and then over to the museums. Not to long ago we were in Cleveland and visited the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame and very much enjoyed ourselves. In fact was so inspired sometime soon there just may be a visit into this realm.

HH:  Any vacation plans this year?

TG: Yes! It is official, we are heading back to Oahu for a week of sitting on a beach from dawn to dusk. I kid you not, there is no doing the tourist thing for us, it is just the cutie and myself hanging out with the turtles and wild chickens.

HH:  Where can readers and fans find out more about you and your books?

TG: The best place would be my website, www.tillygreene.com, I keep it up myself so anything exciting that happens I put it right up, it is another form of creative outlet for me. Then there is the Monthly Scorcher http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tilly_greene/, I don't chat there, it is all about the books. However, lately I have been spending my time over at my Hot Thoughts Blog, www.myspace.com/tillygreene/, it is fun if not somewhat addictive

Well, Holly, as always, it is a pleasure to talk books with you, thank you very much for having me, it was joy.

HH:  Thank you!
